Our Singing Lessons Level 2 are aimed at students who wish to build upon previous singing training and/or experience. The course will focus on solidifying technique, widening repertoire knowledge across a number of genres and developing tone, range and vocal style.

All courses are taught within groups, led by your tutor, an experienced vocal coach and a performer. Each week begins with a thorough vocal warm up, going on to apply key vocal techniques and approaches to develop your confidence and singing skills. Rather than focusing on one type of music, you’ll develop your musicality and vocal technique by singing from a broad repertoire including Pop, Jazz, Folk and Musical Theatre.

As a level 2 course, students must have completed a Beginners Singing Lessons or have previous singing experience before beginning. The course is taught in the heart of London, in a supportive, vibrant environment.

Our classes are taught in a fun and supportive environment and most of the time you will be singing in a group, although occasionally you will have the opportunity to sing on your own to check your progress.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AND LEVEL OF THIS COURSE?

This course is suitable for those who have a basic knowledge of singing technique and the ability to correctly pitch and understand their voice.

Students must have completed a singing beginners course and/or have previous singing experience and wish to further develop their vocal skills.

Within this course students will further consolidate vocal technique, breathing exercises, posture and application of this technique across a broad repertoire.

The ability to hear notes and sing them back as well as good spoken and written English is required.

HOW WILL I BE TAUGHT?

All courses are taught within groups. Each week will begin with a thorough vocal warm up before going on to develop and apply key vocal techniques and approaches to develop your confidence and singing skills.

Students will have the opportunity to sing a broad range of repertoire each week. Your voice will grow in strength and flexibility and you’ll gain a sense of control and confidence when singing. Best of all, you’ll have a lot of fun, and meet like-minded new people.

BY THE END OF THE COURSE, WHAT WILL I HAVE ACHIEVED?

Students will have:

• Developed confidence in their vocal ability, improving range and tone.
• Gained further insight into their individual instrument, movement and vocal health.
• Explored key elements of their chosen genre i.e. improvisation, lyrical interpretation, musicality, interaction with accompaniment.
• Demonstrated learnt technique within an informal sharing to friends and family on the final session.
