Whether you’re considering a longer course or just want to try something new, this is a welcoming and supportive place to start. 2 Do I need any previous acting experience? No experience is necessary. This course is designed for absolute beginners and provides a relaxed introduction to basic screen acting techniques in a small group setting. Those that have studied acting but not screen acting are welcome to join Screen Acting Level 1. 3 What will I learn in the session? You’ll explore the fundamentals of acting for camera, including shot types, eye lines, and how to deliver a natural performance on screen. It’s a hands-on course with practical exercises and a taste of working on camera. 4 What should I wear or bring? Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Any scripts or materials you need will be provided during the course. 5 Do I get a copy of the footage from the session? The footage filmed during the workshop is for in-class review only and is not shared or distributed after the session. It’s used as a learning tool to help you see how your performance translates on screen.
