Gain confidence in the salsa social scene!

Footwork, styling and body movement are essential components in Salsa social dancing and often daunting to those new to the dance. The way you move your feet, add personal flair, and use your body to express emotions can make all the difference in creating a captivating dance with your partner. These three elements work together harmoniously to elevate the overall quality and impact of the dance.

This new course is a standalone short course dedicated to familiarising and experimenting with salsa footwork, arm styling, hips and upper body movement.

Designed for those from Salsa Improvers 1 level to Advanced and to pair alongside your partner work class it will provide a fully holistic approach to your Salsa social dancing.

UNDERSTANDING OUR SALSA & BACHATA CURRICULUM

Salsa and bachata are beautifully rich dances, full of technique, musicality, and finesse and like any true art form, they take time to develop and refine.

Each course within our curriculum is designed to be repeated, often more than once. You’ll work closely alongside your peers and your tutor, who will guide you in mastering every element of the material. When you’re ready, you’ll receive a sign-off to progress to the next level, ensuring a solid and confident foundation at every stage.

To support your learning, our bi-monthly afternoon Salsa Social is a friendly, welcoming, and safe space where you can practise what you’ve learned in class, build confidence on the dance floor, and most importantly, have fun.

Think of salsa as a marathon, not a sprint. There’s no rush, the joy is in the journey, slow and steady, with lots of smiles along the way.
