Our Blues Guitar lessons will teach you a range of skills to introduce improvisation and new rhythmic styles to your practice.

Building on our beginners' guitar course, you will continue to learn to play as a group. However, our professional tutors will introduce solo guitar playing as you gain confidence.

Entry requirements for this course

Students will have the ability to read tab and chord diagrams. Students should also have experience changing between chords and some experience playing basic melodies/riffs. Ideally, students will have completed the City Academy Guitar Beginners Course. Please note, you will need to bring your own guitar.
