USEFUL INFORMATION Who is this course for? This intensive is designed for committed dancers with a solid technical foundation who are ready to take on daily training. It’s ideal for those preparing for auditions, professional opportunities, or seeking to refine their skills. Do I need previous contemporary dance experience? Yes, a strong background in contemporary or ballet is recommended to keep pace with the level and intensity of training. What is the daily schedule like? Mornings focus on technique classes (contemporary and ballet), while afternoons cover repertoire, improvisation, cross-genre training, and acting workshops. Expect full days of physical and creative work. What should I bring? Dancewear suitable for contemporary and ballet, water, lunch, and layers for warming up and cooling down. Will I perform at the end of the course? The course is training-focused rather than performance-based, but you will work on repertoire and creative tasks that provide opportunities to share work-in-progress with peers and tutors. How does this differ from the Professional Ballet Programme? While the Ballet Programme focuses on classical training, this intensive expands into contemporary styles, creative tasks, acting, and cross-genre versatility—reflecting today’s diverse professional dance demands.
