It’s ideal for graduates of our Sitcom Writing - Beginners course, or anyone with a solid script and character biographies ready to refine. This is where your idea deepens, sharpens and grows. Across the course, you’ll explore practical tools, video case studies and professional examples to help you truly interrogate your concept. We’ll uncover the theme of your sitcom - what you’re really writing about - and test whether your idea has genuine staying power. Building on the foundations from Level 1, you’ll strengthen your structure, character dynamics and comic engine, while discovering new techniques to elevate your writing. Two of the most powerful tools a writer can have are feedback and deadlines - and this course gives you both. Each session includes detailed analysis of students’ work, discussion of commissioned sitcoms, and targeted homework to help you apply what you’ve learned directly to your script. You’ll leave each week with clear next steps and renewed creative momentum.
