With weekly evening rehearsals, masterclasses, and regular in-studio showcases, this is the perfect place to refine your technique, challenge yourself with new choreography, and gain valuable performance experience in a fun, supportive environment. Led by professional choreographers Paola Lizza and Manuela Cimadomo, you’ll work with expert teachers who bring a wealth of experience across jazz, commercial, tap, jive, and live performance projects. Course & Membership Schedule If you’re interested in joining the Jazz Dance company, you must attend a taster session. During the taster you will attend a regular rehearsal and meet the rest of the group. The Company Leader will also take the opportunity to watch you dance as well as assess your suitability for the group. Useful information Who can join the Jazz Dance Company? The company is open to those who have completed Improvers Level Jazz at City Academy (or equivalent), or who have jazz dance performance experience. Do I need to audition? No formal audition is required. Instead, you’ll attend a Jazz Dance Company Taster class where you’ll join a rehearsal. This helps both you and the Directors assess if the company is the right fit. What does the membership include? Membership covers weekly rehearsals, showcases, guest masterclasses, plus exclusive perks such as complimentary courses, discounts, and free tasters. How long is the commitment? Membership runs at £80 per month with a minimum commitment of 3 months. You may cancel any time with 14 days’ notice before your next payment.
