Designed specifically for those new to dance - or returning after a break - this intensive week will help you build strong foundations, improve fitness, and gain confidence across multiple styles. You don’t need previous training, just enthusiasm and a willingness to try something new. Across five consecutive days, you’ll explore core techniques step-by-step, develop coordination and musicality, and experience the joy of learning choreography alongside others at a similar level. By the end of the week, you’ll feel stronger, more confident, and ready to continue your dance journey. Commercial Dance Try commercial choreography inspired by street and pop styles, focusing on rhythm, attitude and stage presence. Guided Improvisation Explore creative movement tasks that help you connect with your body and move without pressure. Strength and Flexibility Learn safe stretching techniques, basic core exercises and posture awareness to support physical development. Safe Dance Practice Understand how to warm up, train safely and look after your body during an active week of dance. No. This course is designed specifically for beginners. 2 Is the course physically demanding? It is active, but all exercises are taught at a beginner level with modifications where needed. 3 What should I wear? Comfortable clothing you can move freely in. Trainers are suitable for most classes; further guidance will be provided before the course. 4 Will I need to perform at the end of the week? You will learn simple routines during the week, and there is a showcase which we would invite you to ask friends and family to attend to see all that you have achieved. 5 Am I too old to start dancing? Absolutely not. The course welcomes adult learners of all ages. 6 Will I feel out of my depth? No. Classes are structured progressively and taught in a supportive, inclusive environment.
