Yet, all too often, in the workplace we fail to harness the power of narrative. On our Storytelling for Business course, you will learn fundamental storytelling skills and explore ways to use these to connect with and influence others. Using a mixture of fictional and business content we will look at how to use story as a powerful tool to lead teams, communicate change, drive growth and capture the imagination of your audience. Working in a small group and led by an actor and business coach we explore the value of story, how it works in a neurological sense, the key components and practical performance techniques for delivering a story with flair. Body Language Explore posture, eye contact, expression and gesture to support your story and strengthen your delivery. Vocal Technique Use pitch, pace, pause, rhythm and tone to bring your story to life and keep your audience engaged.
