You will work with a professional, working director to create contrasting scenes over two weekly evening sessions; from script conception through to character creation. USEFUL INFORMATION Who is this course suitable for? This package is ideal for actors with some training or on-screen experience who are ready to showcase their abilities in a professional format. It’s perfect for those seeking representation, applying for roles, or wanting to refresh their existing reel with high-quality footage. Do I need to bring my own scripts? You’re welcome to bring your own material if you have something in mind, but our director will also help source and tailor scripts during your initial sessions to ensure they suit your casting profile and showcase your strengths. How long will my final showreel be? Typically, your showreel will include two professionally filmed scenes, totalling around 2–3 minutes—ideal for casting professionals who want to see your range without losing interest. What’s included in the filming day? The filming day includes a full film crew (camera operator, director, sound and lighting technicians), use of professional-grade equipment, and on-location or studio shooting. You’ll receive guidance throughout to get the best performance on camera. Where does the filming take place? Filming takes place at a professional location in London, carefully selected to match the tone of your chosen scenes. You’ll be advised of the location in advance. What kind of equipment do you use? We use broadcast-quality cameras, lighting, and sound equipment—comparable to what’s used in film and TV productions. This ensures your showreel meets industry standards in both look and sound. Who edits the footage? An experienced film editor, with a strong background in editing actor reels and cinematic content, will cut, colour grade, and polish your footage into a finished reel. Will I receive individual feedback? Yes. Throughout your sessions and on the filming day, you’ll receive personal direction and performance coaching. Your work is fully supported to help you produce your best on-screen result. When will I receive my finished showreel? Your edited showreel is typically delivered within 2–3 weeks of your filming day. We’ll send it digitally, ready for uploading to Spotlight, Mandy, or sharing with agents. How many people are in each group To ensure plenty of individual attention and rehearsal time, group sizes are kept small—a maximum of 6 participants per course.
