Make the high notes feel easy.

You’ll finish with:

A stronger, more agile voice
Clear tools for bridging registers without strain
Better breath support, posture, and resonance
Personalised coaching and actionable feedback
Renewed confidence to sing expressively

COURSE OVERVIEW

Soprano & Alto Technical Singing Workshop

Explore the relationship between your head voice and chest voice.

Learn how to blend them seamlessly for a rich, expressive sound.

You’ll cover:

  • Understanding and identifying what head voice and chest voice feel like
  • Exploring songs that use chest voice for warmth and depth
  • Transitioning between the two registers without strain or tension
  • Practising bridging exercises to create a fluid, connected range
  • Applying these techniques to songs that use both voices — from artists like Joni Mitchell or Adele

Outcome:

This session focuses on building strength and flexibility, helping you move confidently through your vocal range with control and resonance.

Tenor & Bass Technical Singing Workshop

Develop a clear understanding of your full voice and falsetto, and learn to navigate the passaggio (the break between registers) with strength and agility.

You’ll cover:

  • Exploring what full voice and falsetto feel like — and how to access them safely
  • Techniques for discovering and developing your mixed voice
  • Larynx position, jaw and tongue tension, and the “cry” quality in the voice
  • How to support your voice without pushing, plus vowel modification for high notes
  • Applying these tools to songs that demand range and versatility — such as Smoke Gets In Your Eyes

Outcome:

This workshop builds balance, freedom and flexibility in the male voice, helping you sing across your full range with confidence and control.

USEFUL INFORMATION

No. All exercises are taught by demonstration and repetition. Any written materials provided are optional support.
What will I learn?
You’ll explore fundamentals such as breath support, resonance, register balance (head/chest/mix), alignment, and diction. You’ll also apply these techniques to selected repertoire.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothing, water, and (optional) a notebook. Sheet music or lyrics may be provided; you’re welcome to bring a song you know if invited by the tutor.
Will we sing solo?
Most of the class is group-based. There may be short, supportive individual moments to receive feedback, but no one is put on the spot.
