Under the guidance of your professional piano teacher, you will cover fundamental technique and learn to play and read simple pieces on the keyboard. During these practical lessons, you'll play solos, duets and ensemble pieces. Run in Central London, these adult group music courses are a fantastically entertaining way to learn a new instrument in a creative environment. PIANO LESSONS FOR BEGINNERS - COURSE CONTENT During our piano course you will learn to play a wide variety of music. We will give you practical exercises to help you gain confidence practising on the keyboard. During our beginners piano lessons you will: Learn how to name all the notes on the keyboard Practice correct finger placement, hand and sitting positions Learn about scales, key signatures and chord progressions Practice playing in pairs and as a whole group Learn a wide variation of musical pieces and develop your improvisational skills How to read piano music, identifying where notes are on the piano and learn about musical terminology Like all of our piano lessons, whilst you play, our piano teacher will also give you individual feedback on your progress. Every student will have an individual keyboard to practice with each week. Must be 18+, Conversational English.
