So that you don’t feel out of your depth, we ask that you do have some previous experience before you do the Musical Theatre - Improvers course – ideally you will have completed a City Academy Musical Theatre - Beginners course (or equivalent) or a singing or dance programme. What should I wear to class? Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely during dance and movement work. We recommend trainers or suitable dance shoes, along with flexible clothing such as leggings, joggers or activewear. Acting Through Song Take part in solo masterclasses focused on Acting Through Song, helping you connect character, emotion and vocal delivery. Showcase Material Learn and rehearse material for an informal showcase, with past repertoire including Little Shop of Horrors, Once, Matilda and Wicked. Home Practice Access course materials online, giving you the opportunity to practise and prepare between sessions.
