She has a strong ability to teach core techniques and artistic skills with clarity and precision, while her supportive and creative approach helps students build confidence, explore their ideas, and develop their own unique artistic voice. Approach: Structured, Technique-focused, Creative Bio Ieva is originally from Latvia, where she trained in fine arts at the renowned Janis Rozentāls Riga Art School, developing strong foundations in classical drawing, watercolour, oil painting, art history, perspective, and composition. She later studied Theatre and Performance in France and the UK and is a qualified Arts Therapist, all of which inform her practice. Her sessions use simple, structured exercises to build strong technical skills, while she supports each student’s individual style. Students gain confidence, refined technique, and a deeper understanding of art. Experience highlights: Last year Ieva’s painting “Red Meditation” was selected as the cover artwork for Armenian writer Hofik Afyan’s internationally acclaimed novel Red, translated into Latvian - an honour that holds deep personal and artistic significance.
