This is a course for anyone who remembers the excitement of starting a writing project and just can’t seem to find the time or passion to get back to it.

Beat Writer's Block is a one day workshop to help you find inspiration again. Along with your fellow coursemates, this day will be full of fun and laughter, (even if your project is a serious one!).

If you’ve brought a project along, you will get the opportunity to share it with the class and discuss why you’re getting stuck, as well as learn techniques for bringing functional scenes or chapters to life. You’ll be able to take those strategies home with you and apply them to your work over and over again. If you come along with a blank notebook, ready to start a new project that is great too. You might even remember ideas you had in the past and decide to bring them back to life!

Led by an expert writing tutor, you will play relaxed games to get your creative brain firing as well as some high-speed writing challenges to help you uncover new ideas.
