Home›Tim Sanders Tim Sanders Tim is an art tutor with many years experience both as a professional in media and as an educationalist. Beyond the Classroom: Plays soprano saxophone. Lived in Mexico for several years. Has two daughters. Approach: Supportive, Confidence-building, Technique-focused, Creative Bio Sessions usually involve a series of mark making and warm up exercises. This builds confidence and helps the creative process. I work with students using whole class activities and also one to one attention, paying attention to individual aspirations and aims, and offering appropriate guidance. We work on drawing and painting technique with a wide range of activities and projects. Students make progress by putting the skills into practice and build confidence and ability which is clearly visible as the course progresses. Experience highlights: "Tim spent more than a decade as cartoonist for the Independent newspaper titles and continues to work for a wide range of publications including The Guardian, Observer, Mail on Sunday and many others. He works as a reportage artist doing 'live drawing' on location. He has painted murals on many sites in London and elsewhere. He has exhibited in many group and personal shows."
