Through weekly rehearsals, challenging choreography and regular showcases, you will refine your technique, strengthen your musicality and develop the confidence to perform as part of a connected ensemble. Begin by attending a Tap Dance Company taster rehearsal. Weekly Company Training Take part in weekly 2-hour advanced training sessions designed to develop technique, consistency and performance readiness. Original Contemporary Repertoire Work with a professional choreographer to create, build and refine original contemporary performance material. Creative Collaboration Contribute to the company’s developing repertoire through improvisation, creative exploration and shared choreographic work. Load More Meet your company leader Cameron Tweed is an award-winning tap dancer, choreographer and teacher who has won five World Tap titles with Team GB. His performance credits include Big: The Musical, West End Live, Sunday Night at the Palladium and English National Ballet’s The Nutcracker. Having taught and choreographed internationally, Cam brings energy, expertise and a passion for performance to City Academy’s Tap Dance Company.
