Our Street Dance Classes - Improvers is the natural progression from the Beginners Course. You will learn more complicated street dance techniques and isolations, and use these skills to work towards exciting and challenging choreography.

Street is a freestyle dance. On the Improvers course you will continue to build your knowledge of street dance technique, and learn to improvise with real confidence and flair.
STREET DANCE CLASSES - IMPROVERS CONTENT

During this high-energy street dance lesson, you will:

  • Deepen your understanding of different styles of street dance, including: hip hop, breakdancing, and house
  • Continue to develop fundamental street dance techniques, as well as adding popping, locking and krumping to your repertoire
  • Lose inhibitions and gain confidence in your freestyling ability
  • Develop your fitness, coordination and strength
  • Learn more challenging and exciting street choreography
  • Focus on musicality and style

You'll receive friendly feedback throughout the course.

City Academy tutors are experienced artists and performers that work in the industry. If your tutor's availability changes at short notice, our team will arrange for a suitable replacement and notify you in advance.

CANCELLATIONS POLICY

We offer a full refund or full credit of your original course if you cancel at least 72 hours before the start of your booking.

We cannot offer any refund if you cancel less than 72 hours before the start of your booking, or if you do not attend.
