Held over ten intensive weekdays (Monday to Friday), this course offers structured, full-time training that builds technique, musicality, stamina, and performance skill — all within a supportive and inspiring environment. You’ll be guided by professional ballet tutors and choreographers with extensive performance and teaching experience. Each day includes a combination of ballet technique classes, repertoire and variations, strength and conditioning, and creative performance workshops. You'll end on a high with an informal studio showing for friends and family — a celebration of your progress. Whether you’re preparing for vocational training, returning to ballet, or seeking to deepen your practice, this summer intensive will challenge and inspire you. This course is suitable for beginners to improvers, level, and dancers who are comfortable in a full-time training environment. If you're looking to refine your technique, build strength, and perform with confidence, this summer school is for you. Useful Information Who is this course suitable for? This course is open to adult dancers of all levels, including complete beginners. Whether you’re brand new to ballet, returning after time away, or looking to build confidence, you’ll be fully supported throughout the programme. What will I learn during the course? You’ll build on your existing skills by learning more complex footwork, transitions, and combinations. The focus is on performance, so you’ll also develop musicality, stage presence, and confidence, culminating in a choreographed routine performed live. Do I need any previous ballet experience? Not at all. The course welcomes absolute beginners alongside those with some dance background. You’ll be guided step-by-step by expert tutors in a supportive and non-intimidating environment. What is the age range? This course is designed for adults aged 18 and above. We have a diverse mix of participants, and no upper age limit - just bring enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Will I be in a class with more advanced dancers? Where possible, participants will be grouped by experience level to ensure everyone is working at a pace that suits them. The course is designed to be accessible yet challenging for all. Do I need to be on pointe? No, pointe work is not required or expected for this course. Conditioning or technique classes will be offered in place of pointe work where appropriate. Is there a performance at the end? Yes, the course ends with an informal studio showing. It’s a relaxed opportunity to celebrate your progress and share your experience with invited friends or family — entirely optional, with no pressure. Can I attend just one week of the course?
