Our five-day Singing Summer School is an immersive vocal intensive designed to strengthen your technique, expand your range and elevate your performance skills - all under the expert guidance of professional vocal coaches. Whether you are a complete beginner or an enthusiastic singer looking to develop further, this course offers a supportive and inspiring environment to explore your voice safely and confidently. Across five dynamic days, you’ll take part in masterclasses, group workshops and solo coaching sessions covering core vocal technique and a broad repertoire spanning Musical Theatre, Jazz, Pop, Rock and R&B. By the end of the week, you won’t just have sung great songs - you’ll understand how your voice works and how to use it with greater freedom, control and expression. What you'll learn: Our Singing Summer School has been designed to give you a solid foundation in singing. In a group setting, you will learn: Technique – developing your vocal range, improving your breath control and discovering a new found confidence in your voice. Students will be introduced to a number of techniques and approaches including the Estill voice qualities. Repertoire – exploring a range of music genres and harmony work during ensemble classes. Learning how to achieve a good quality vocal performance while using your voice in a safe and healthy manner. Solo – working on your individual approach and styling during solo rehearsals. Special Workshops to compliment your singing - Acting Through Song, Acappella, Songwriting and Movement for Singing. What are the entry requirements and level of this course? Our Singing Summer course is suitable for complete beginners and those who possess a passion and curiosity to learn more about their voice. Students will learn about vocal technique, breathing, posture and application of this technique across a broad repertoire. Students must be able have a good level of spoken and written English. SHOWCASE Throughout the week you will rehearse songs, working on musicality and performance skills. This course culminates in an informal studio showcase for a small group of friends and family you may wish to invite. MICHAEL OJO Michael creatively combines specially formulated vocal techniques to help artists and musicians achieve their desired sound with mental vitality, skill and finesse. His studies include the scientific practice of external vibration to relieve excessive muscular and neurological tension. MORE INFO SOPHIE H Sophie has toured the world with the likes of Lady Gaga, Tom Jones and Cher. With a passion in all areas of the performing arts, Sophie has over 15 years of experience in singing with students ranging from total beginners to professionals. MORE INFO JONNY BLACK Jonny was the lead singer and songwriter for the indie/rock band 'Dupe' before going on to train in musical theatre at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. He has appeared in a number of touring and West End productions including Blood Brothers and Rock Legends.
