Our Tap Dance - Improvers 1 class is designed to take your skills to the next level and directly follows our Tap Dance - Beginners course. Be innovative and daring in our Improver’s class, combine your knowledge from Tap Dance Beginners and grab the chance to use the “single shuffle time” step you’ve learnt and perform it in unison. Finesse your footwork in a supportive environment and strengthen your skills as you receive constructive feedback from one of our expert tutors. Greater focus will be given to posture and weight transference as you explore more routines. Finally, you’ll perform a short showcase for friends and family to flaunt your new talents. Our Dance Improvers 1 Course is the best place to build your Tap Dancing confidence. TAP DANCE CLASS - IMPROVERS 1 CONTENT Introduction to simple routines with warm up and cool down exercises Understand posture and spacial awareness Demonstrate how to isolate parts of the body in order to define a movement Improve basic coordination of your arms, feet and head Explore the uses of weight transference Perform a selection of short basic choreography from a hit Musical Theatre show Learn fundamental footwork combinations Please note - tap shoes are required for this course. If you do not own tap shoes you can buy a pair here. 📊 LEVEL This course is open for intermediate Tap Dancers with a basic understanding of footwork and technique. ★ WHAT YOU WILL LEARN Develop an understanding of posture and weight transference; focus on body isolation and learn more routines and footwork combinations. 👤 WHAT TO BRING Please note - tap shoes are required for this course.
