It’s designed to give you a feel for the class environment. You'll get a chance to meet the tutor and try some simple exercises that form the foundation of our full Piano courses. In this one-off session, you’ll explore a few basic elements of piano playing, including a short introduction to the keyboard, finger placement and trying a couple of simple chords. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN In your Piano Taster Lesson, you will: Be introduced to the keyboard and the fundamentals of music making. Play simple chords and a short piano piece. Learn the very basics of reading music. Experience playing piano in a relaxed, group setting with headphones. USEFUL INFORMATION 1 What is a Piano Taster Lesson? A one-off beginner-friendly class that introduces you to the fundamentals of piano playing, including note recognition, chords, and reading sheet music, all taught in a relaxed group setting. 2 What does the taster offer? This practical, hands-on session will help you feel confident about learning piano while giving you a clear idea of what to expect from our full course. You will learn in a safe, welcoming environment where everyone is encouraged to participate. The session will give you a taste of our professional teaching approach with exercises you can apply immediately, and you will receive personalised guidance from an experienced piano tutor who can recommend the right course for you. You’ll also have the chance to meet other like-minded music lovers. 3 Do I need any piano experience? No, this class is designed for complete beginners and is also suitable for those who may have learned a little in the past but want to start again. 4 Do I need to bring my own keyboard? No, all keyboards are provided and set-up in advance. Just bring yourself. 5 What's next after the taster?
