Course & Membership Schedule If you’re interested in joining the Salsa Dance company, you must attend a taster session. During the taster you will attend a regular rehearsal and meet the rest of the group. The Company Leader will also take the opportunity to watch you dance as well as assess your suitability for the group. USEFUL INFORMATION Who can join the Salsa Dance Company? The company is open to those who have completed Intermediate level Salsa classes (or above) at City Academy, or have equivalent salsa performance experience. Do I need to audition? Instead of a formal audition, you’ll attend a Salsa Company Taster class, where you’ll join a rehearsal and meet the Directors. This helps determine if the company is the right level for you. What does the membership include? Your membership covers all rehearsals, performances, and exclusive benefits including course discounts, free tasters, and complimentary dance classes. How long is the commitment? There’s a minimum membership of 3 months, with fees charged monthly (£95). You can cancel with 14 days’ notice to your next payment date. What level of experience do I need? You’ll need to be confident at intermediate salsa level or higher, with experience of learning choreography and performing.
