Helen believes that people reach their best potential in a supportive, joyful environment. Beyond the Classroom: Helen loves travel, rainy days and is an avid psychogeographer. Approach: Supportive, Confidence-building, Industry-informed, Creative, Practical Bio Helen’s sessions include a fun and focusing warm up followed by group exercises and culminating solo or small group scenes. Each week I share tangible skills and actionable insights cleaned from decades in the industry. All exercises are designed to build your confidence and your unique creative identity. Experience highlights: Helen’s experience includes work for Soho Theatre, Shakespeare’s Globe, The Old Vic and multiple international festivals. From 2015-17 she was artistic director of Drama Studio London. Helen is an Edinburgh Fringe Festival Award Winner. Training: Helen trained in directing with Katie Mitchell and in performance at the Actors Institute. She has a LAMDA teaching qualification.
