Lyndon Ives

Lyndon Ives

Lyndon Ives is writer / director with over twenty years’ experience teaching all aspects of filmmaking. His philosophy is for the students to be as hands on as possible in order to fully understand the process.

Bio

Lyndon's session are highly pragmatic, with the students gaining not only an insight into the processes involved in filmmaking but also a touch of real world experience. Through a series of workshops that blend theory and practice, students are offered and experiential learning that fosters engagement. An inclusive and comfortable environment is put in place for the students to be fully immersed in the experience, whether it be planning a documentary shoot, finalising an edit, or wrapping a narrative fiction short, students will have the information and know how at every stage to be confident in the process. and the outcome.

One grounded outcome of my sessions is the idea that you may not need to take another course on the topic, but have everything you need within reason to explore it yourself.
