Ronin’s approach to creating action is playful, collaborative and actor-focused.

He combines creativity with calm, practical problem-solving and an instinct for getting the best from everyone in the room. With decades of experience, he balances storytelling with the practical realities of time, performer experience and production requirements.

Ronin is a Master Teacher with the British Academy of Stage & Screen Combat, Firearms Instructor with the Society of American Fight Directors, Master at Arms at the International Actor Academy and founder of ID Fight. He has taught at many of the UK’s leading Drama schools including RADA, Central School of Speech & Drama, Mountview, as well as masterclasses internationally across Europe and the United States.

Experience highlights:

Stunt Coordinator and Fight Director credits include The Intent 2 (Best Action Film - National Film Awards), Olive Green (Best Action & Adventure Film - US International Film Festival), Usagi Yojimbo (Best Choreography nomination, Off West End) and work for BBC 1, Ch4, Ch5, Nike, Domino’s, Heineken, B&Q, McCoy’s, Netflix, Sony and Sega; including choreographing and performing fights for over 15 years on their Total War series.
